DESCRIPTION
This is a trip we like to do in the winter for a couple of reasons. The southwest is generally deserted this time of year. Parking is adjacent to a paved road so it is accessible even in wet weather. This canyon is open to ORV’s but you probably won’t see (or hear) any in the winter.
DIRECTIONS
Turn south off Highway 12 just a short distance east of Cannonville. This is the road to Kodachrome Basin State Park.
